This is for

Adults who want strength that supports a high-level life: golf, tennis, travel, business, family, recreation, and independence.

This is not for

Beach-body transformations, bootcamp-style training, bodybuilding prep, contest coaching, random workout seekers, or group classes.

What clients are really buying

Continuity, access, structure, communication, and oversight—delivered through a thoughtful coaching relationship.

Method

Control first. Then strength. Then integration.

Long Game Strength is built around a simple idea: people rarely lose capability all at once. It erodes gradually through avoided positions, poor progression, and years of force leaking through the body. Josh trains those weak positions directly, then builds real strength on top of them.

What the assessment actually looks for

  • Where control breaks down under load—not just where flexibility looks limited.
  • How the body compensates when tension increases or momentum is removed.
  • Whether balance, trunk position, shoulder mechanics, and hip control hold up under tempo.
  • Which positions need to be trained directly rather than avoided or masked.

One example of the Long Game approach

A client may look strong in traditional bilateral lifts, but lose position immediately in a split stance under load. Instead of avoiding that weakness, Josh trains it directly: holds, reduced-range split squats, anti-rotation loading, and then more dynamic integration. The goal is not simply completing the movement—it is owning the position under tension.

01

Phase One · Establish control

Identify weak positions, reduce compensation, and build stability, balance, and positional awareness under load.

02

Phase Two · Build strength inside those positions

Develop force production without losing structure, while progressively improving loading tolerance and movement quality.

03

Phase Three · Integrate into real movement

Carry that strength into more dynamic, demanding, and sport-or-life-specific movement that holds up over time.

Proof

The outcome is not hype. It is retained capability.

Long Game clients are not chasing novelty. They are trying to keep doing the things that matter to them, at a high level, for as long as possible.

Return to confident movement

Clients in their 60s have returned to tennis, golf, and other demanding activity with better stability, stronger movement, and less hesitation.

Progression without recurring setbacks

Weak positions are rebuilt directly so clients can tolerate loading more confidently instead of repeating the same compensation patterns.

Daily life feels easier again

Getting up from the floor, maintaining balance, traveling comfortably, and staying physically engaged become less uncertain and more natural.

The Coach

Josh built Long Game Strength around a hard truth.

Most people do not suddenly lose strength, mobility, or independence. It happens gradually—through years of moving less, avoiding certain positions, and training without progression that actually transfers to life.

Long Game Strength exists to reverse that pattern. Josh works with a select group of adults who want clear coaching, direct communication, and a disciplined approach to maintaining strength, movement quality, and long-term physical resilience.

  • Works with executives, physicians, business owners, and active adults who value discretion.
  • Creates educational content consistently through social platforms and his community.
  • Approaches coaching as a long-term relationship, not a revolving door of workouts.
Fit & FAQ

The right clients usually know it quickly.

Long Game Strength is not designed to appeal to everyone. The site should help people self-select before the first conversation.

  • Do I need to live in Sarasota?

No. Josh is based in Sarasota and works with select clients locally, but coaching can continue remotely for clients who travel, split time seasonally, or live elsewhere.

  • Is this rehab or physical therapy?

No. This is coaching. Clients who need diagnosis or treatment beyond scope are referred out appropriately.

  • Can I just book a few workouts?

Not really. This is designed as a structured coaching relationship with progression, oversight, and a three-month minimum.

  • What happens first?

A direct text conversation, then a brief call or Zoom to discuss goals, training history, and fit. If it makes sense, the next step is a paid assessment.

  • What kind of people tend to do well here?

Adults who value structure, consistency, privacy, and a calm, intelligent coaching process—especially those who still want a lot from their body.
